Not for Profit

South Sydney Anglican church is not for profit Christian charity that operates through the generosity of its members and those who benefit from the church.

Our supporters all give different amounts depending on their circumstances, stage of life and Christian maturity. However, we do encourage all Christians who benefit from the ministry of South Sydney

Anglican church, whether in person or online to give something so that we may continue to overflow with faith, hope and love in Jesus.

10% of all income we receive through our offertory is forwarded to our missionaries. If you would like to hear a sermon about Christian giving and good stewardship click here: Christian giving.

How to Support the Church

1

Online Form

Supporting the church is as easy as 1, 2, 3. South Sydney Anglican Church uses a church management system called Elvanto, which is connected to a secure online giving platform called Tithe.ly.* So simply click the GIVE button below, to fill in the secure donation form.

Decide whether it is a one off gift or a recurring monthly offertory. This method makes it easiest for our church treasurer to track giving and plan the budget.

2

Bank Deposit

The next best way to set up faithful and generous giving to the church is to establish a recurring direct deposit with your bank.

3

Cash

A third way to give to the church is to bring cash to church on a Sunday and deposit it in the offertory bag during the service. This is still a good option and we understand that for many people it is still their preference.

A Final Word about our One4Life Ministry

The one4life ministry of Geoff Miles undertakes many ministries that help the wider community. For this reason we are currently applying to the Australian Government for DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) status.

Once this is approved people will be able to make tax-deductible donations to support the role of our chaplain Geoff Miles. However, please note, that tax deductible gifts can ONLY be used to support the

chaplain and cannot be used to support any other part of the churches evangelistic ministry.

If you would like to make a tax deductible gift now – this can be arranged through Anglican Aid – who already have DGR status and legal permission to forward DGR gifts to us.

If you would like to receive a tax-deductible receipt for your one4life gift please click here: Anglican Aid.
