The Bible explains that ever since the beginning of the world – the real problem for humanity is we have rejected God as King. We made ourselves kings and started doing whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted. BUT IN THE PROCESS – we have all become like little sinful, selfish, satans – damaging others – as we try to preserve our self rule. THE CONSEQUENCE of all this – is that we deserve to be punished by God. We deserve to die for rejecting God’s kingship. But the true King – God’s Son (the Lord Jesus Christ) – then comes to earth and allows himself to be put to death – to take the punishment for our wrongdoing. Jesus does this because he loves us.

Our Easter series begins with Jesus’ weeping in the Garden of Gethsemane with a stern warning “the Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak”.

God has Spoken and Satan is Cancelling the Truth.
Choosing Faith means Speaking Biblical Truth.
Choosing Faith means obeying God, not man.

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Choosing Faith in Jesus means Wisdom & Innocence at Work

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Ephesians 2:8-9

Choosing “FAITH in a Faltering World” with references to Matthew 25:31-46, the Parable of the Sheeps and the Goats. The Sheeps depict the destiny of Christians who applied faith through their good deeds by feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, clothing the naked and attending the sick or in need. But we must remember though that Salvation is NOT because of our good deeds, but SALVATION THROUGH A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS – BY FAITH. And Faith must express itself in good deeds.

Choosing “FAITH in a Faltering World” with references to Ephesians 6:10-18, the famous verses on the Armour of God.
“Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
Our Faith is nourished and strengthen by regular time with God Through prayers and bible reading.
